Five Ways To Make Your Life More Sustainable

Waste
Minimise waste and recycle any you do create. We keep our packaging to a minimum and eliminate the use of non recyclable or recycled plastic in disposables and packaging.

Use Up Your Food
Learn to cook something nice what you have left in the fridge. Finding ways of using those leftovers means that the food doesn't have to go to waste.

Eating Seasonally
Eating seasonally not only ensures great flavour, but less environmental impact. Our menus are naturally seasonal, with the season’s produce being drivers for our menu choices.

Buying Locally
Buying locally not only supports the community, it's also much better for the environment. We’re aware of the impact our purchasing has on the environment so ensure to source responsibly. Eden’s whole ethos is sustainability which is underpinned with its commitment to local, UK and seasonal produce. We buy from suppliers as close to us as possible. The average distance of our suppliers from Eden is 11.3 miles.

Know Your Labels
More than half of the food we throw out is food we could have eaten. Get to know the difference between "best before dates", "sell by dates" and "use by dates". Best before dates are simply the manufacturers’  guess as to when food will be past its best,  this doesn’t mean they’ll make you ill or taste bad.
